Happy Valentine’s Day to the three most beautiful little girls I’ve ever laid eyes on. From the first day I met you, you captured my heart. I remember walking up to you and the way you wrapped yourselves protectively around your mother, although extremely intimidating, completely stole my heart. Because in that one moment, I knew that if I were lucky enough to break through your fortress and into your hearts, I would be the luckiest man in the world. And I couldn’t have been more right. To have you look at me the way you do your mother, with your eyes full of trust and love, there are no words that will ever do that feeling justice. All I can come up with is “Thank You”, but it doesn’t seem to be nearly enough. It’s been a true privilege to be a presence in your lives, to watch how you’ve grown into beautiful young ladies, and to be able guide you as you become older. Thank you so much for allowing me that honor. I love you more than you will ever know.
