Rachel Miller had love, life and happiness...until she didn't. Uncertain of how to cope and move on without him, Rachel's life comes to halt as she mourns the loss of her fiance Ben. Then one night she discovers it doesn't have to. By way of dreams, Rachel and Ben continue to live the life they had planned together. It's unconventional, it's not even real, but it's enough for Rachel. For the first time since Ben's death, she's happy...whole. That is until she runs into someone she barely knew from years ago and suddenly real life is just as great as her dream one. Now Rachel doesn't know what to do. Will letting someone new in threaten what she has with Ben? Or will their love story threaten her new happiness? Is it crazy to chase after a ghost while being caught up by someone very real?

What an AMAZING debut book! This is Love was referred to me by one of my Goodreads friends (Lisa R.) and I am so glad I picked it up. One of my goals this year was to try new authors and I am so happy that this book was recommended to me because I have a new #mustclick author to read – Caroline Nolan. 🙂

Rachel Miller had it all until that fateful day that it was taken all away. To be quite honest, if I were ever in a situation like hers where the love of my life was taken away from me, I wouldn’t know know how I could go on with life because losing that special someone would break my heart completely.

Sadly Rachel is left a shadow of her former self…Readers will feel the grief and sadness so completely that you feel as if you were in Rachel’s shoes, drowning in the sorrow and pain 🙁

I love how the author uses faith in this story to allow Rachel to see Ben in her dreams. Because I do believe that when we lose loved ones that their spirit still lives, and with this faith, Rachel is able to work on getting the closure she needs to move forward and begin to live again.

Hope and the possibility for love again comes in the form of Jackson Perry.

And this is where the story really made my heart soar because This is Love really has all the things I love in a great book…a well written story, characters to fall in love with, and omg the feels!!! THE FEELS!

Jax gives Rachel a chance to live again. And while I won’t tell you the outcome or how Rachel comes about finally making her choice, I will say this…..This is Love is a slow moving, romantic love story. A love story that will touch your soul with the emotions that it evokes in the reader. It will make you laugh, you will tear, and you will swoon because Jax’s patience, kindness, and sexiness makes him the most perfect match for Rachel’s soul.

And while we know that it’s hard to ever move past losing the love of your life, this new person isn’t meant to replace that love, but to allow your heart to love and be happy again. After all, there is always “more life to live.”

This is Love is an AMAZING debut novel that is wonderfully unique and spellbindingly beautiful. Readers looking for an epic love, that is flawless in both the written word and the characters created; a real gem that embeds itself into your heart and soul, should pick up this book. I promise that it is one that will stick with you for a long time to come. I look forward to reading more from Ms. Nolan! <3
