SynopsisGrant Maxwell, aka Max, wakes to find his coffeepot has died in the night. Not one who can start his day without his favorite brew, he heads to the local coffee shop. Max finds something even more appealing than caffeine in the form of a twenty-six-year-old hottie Aiden James. For the first time in his life, well-established, confident and respected Dom Max finds himself sputtering and unsure in the face of Aiden’s charms.

Aiden lives with three roommates, works a dead-end job, and isn’t sure where his life is heading, that is, until he meets Max. Max introduces him to a foreign yet intriguing lifestyle, and they soon discover they have something more than mutual attraction in common.

A shared kink is one thing, but Aiden’s past vanilla sexual experiences as well as his fear of losing himself in Max may keep Aiden from experiencing his fantasy. Max has an obstacle of his own to overcome. He must somehow figure out how to help Aiden explore his submissive side when, for the first time in his life, he’s head over heels in love.

ReviewPony is the story of Grant Maxwell “Max” a Dom you see in book 1 Pup and is a central secondary character in book 2 Tag Team, let me pause and say you do NOT need to read the prior books to understand and enjoy Pony.

Max is therapist and Dom, who appears to be in complete control until he meets Aiden. Let me pause here and say I loved they way Aiden comes into Max’s life.  It was cute and whimsical; showing the reader you never know when life will give you the thing that completes your life.

It was a wonderful chance encounter in life that leads you to the person who ultimately captures your soul and changes your life in ways you never imagined.

As these two find themselves with instant chemistry and attraction, they spend a fair amount of time getting to know each other in and out of the bedroom. I thoroughly enjoyed these encounters and seeing these two get comfortable with each other.

Max and Aiden who spend a lot of the time together as they enjoy each other’s company on so many levels, Aiden’s friends become concerned and for me this felt so true to life and it really hit home pointing out how finding that person you just can’t get enough of often results in you changing your life.

I adored how Max truly looked at how he wanted Aiden to fit into his life; he was not a Dom with a set of criteria that he was looking for in a sub.  Max embraced the depth of connection he felt for Aiden and although he shows Aiden the lifestyle and they do explore what they quickly notice is a shared kink, in the end Max makes a conscious decision about how he wants Aiden to be in his life. No, I will NOT tell you how they fit together, but I will say it really worked for me.

Oh the end.. I loved the end of this book… I will be clear although it is not my kink; the images were very clear and truly brought these men to a place where you know they will fulfill each others needs both body and soul.

I am very much looking forward to the next book in this series, ROPED, Trek and Jamie’s story.

Again, please note these books can absolutely be read stand alone.  The men only share membership to an exclusive BDSM club, Guards of Falsom.
