So I have been on a total book kick lately and have been LOVING every single book I have picked up and read. L.H. Cosway NEVER disappoints so I knew I was in for something pretty amazing when I began reading Six of Hearts. And let me tell you…this book was mesmerizing, suspenseful and magically romantic…I’m on a total book high right now and don’t want to come down!

So what’s it about??

Jay Fields is a master illusionist and he had my heart from the moment I met him as a child. The past shapes who you are and I knew deep down that Jay would seek revenge against the men who took away his childhood and his innocence. It’s pretty clear early on in the story who the characters are and the general direction of how this story will go but the execution was completely brilliant.

The friendship, the attraction, the chemistry and the flirty banter between Mathilda and Jay was a delight to experience. I felt it completely with them – the heart palpitations, the energy and the nervousness of what was to come had me completely in awe of these two characters.

I thoroughly enjoyed the tricks and the magic that Jay performed, completely adding another layer to this story and sucking me into this magical world that L.H. Cosway created.  The mystifying suspense, intrigue and the romance itself was so beautifully done.

It’s hard to review a book when you want readers to experience it for themselves so I don’t want to say too much more other than you have to buy this book!

Revenge is not always so sweet but in this case it really was!  This book reminds you of the magical miracle it is to be a kid again and to truly enjoy life.  I was immersed so deeply into this epic love story that it was hard for me to finish this book because I didn’t want it to end!

Six of Hearts is a beautiful love story, something so different that has not been done before and I LOVED EVERY MINUTE!  You will too….experience the magic of Jay Fields – you will not regret it!
