You’d think a billion dollars, a professional hockey team and a six-bedroom mansion on the Promenade would satisfy a guy. You’d be wrong.

For seven years Rebecca has brightened my office with her wit and her smile. She manages both my hockey team and my sanity. I don’t know when I started waking in the night, craving her. All I know is that one whiff of her perfume ruins my concentration. And her laugh makes me hard.

When Rebecca gets hurt, I step in to help. It’s what friends do. But what friends don’t do is rip off each others’ clothes for a single, wild night together.

Now she’s avoiding me. She says we’re too different, and it can never happen again. So why can’t we keep our hands off each other?

I loved Brooklynaire… I was privileged to have a copy hit my kindle just prior to boarding a plane so I got quiet time immersed in all things Nate!

I loved Nate and Becca, this friends to lovers office romance drew me in from page one and I truly felt the shift in the dynamic between these two. I also loved how it wasn’t really “sudden”, it was more about neither party wanting to risk their friendship… well, also about Nate’s desire to grow his business and Becca supporting that.

The look back at how these two came to work together, how Nate grew his empire and Becca truly understanding who Nate is, capitatived me. I never questioned Nate as you could feel his love, respect, and deep connection to Becca. There was one phone that… well, you just knew Nate would always have Becca’s interest at heart.

Nate is nerdy and witty and truly so caring. He is a hero readers will truly fall in love with. He will not disappoint you—his money is result of his hard work and passion, he is not arrogant or rude—just a great man finally embracing and taking a risk at what is on front of him, Becca, the woman who has been with him though it all, the woman who knows him better than anyone.

This book is a slow burn to the hot sex, but it really hits so well with the characters crafted and how the story unfolds.

OMG the epilogue was so freaking perfect. Well, so was the chapter before this and how Nate “solved” the “you work for me” dilemma.

I want to add… I read this book as a standalone and it was amazing! Whoever keeps changing Goodreads each time the author marks it standalone PLEASE STOP! Brookylnaire is a STANDALONE!

P.S. I do hope that a certain lady in this story gets her happy… Ms. Bowen has me going from wanting to strangle this character to wanting to hug her… and now she needs a happy. Pretty please!
