Seth and Leah are hosting a kinky Christmas party for their friends, complete with a rigging contest. This time of year is always hard on both of them as they each remember Kaden in their own way, and the past and present come together in their hearts and memories.

Kaden wasn’t just an important part of their lives—he mentored countless people as a founding member of the Suncoast Society munch group. As the revelers congregate and reminisce about their lost friend, it’s soon apparent to some that, just maybe, there’s an extra guest in attendance who wasn’t on any RSVP list.

Are their imaginations simply running wild due to the evening’s high spirits? Or is it possible that the ultimate control freak is fulfilling a promise he made to those he loved most?

Ughhh my heart… I loved this emotionally pulling and hot read.

Though A Kinkmas Carol is listed as book 41 in an amazing series, but do NOT back away from reading it as the only book you really need to read to love this one is The Reluctant Dom. I am going to pause here and say if you have not read The Reluctant Dom stop reading this, grab a box of tissue, #1click and be prepared for a truly emotional journey to a happy with real life twists. Oh and don’t read below as it contains a spoiler for The Reluctant Dom.

The holidays are often a tough time for those who have experienced the loss of a loved one. Ms. Dalton does an amazing job of weaving memories of the past into the present day as Seth and Leah move forward.

A Kinkmas Carol offers a look at Seah and Leah as they move forward with their life after the loss of Kade. It was so engaging to bare witness to the legacy Kade built, what he left behind for those who loved him and the friends he left to support his wife and best friend.

The use of hosting a sex party and trying to keep the joy in the holidays while surrounded by family felt so real and the glimpses of Kade as life moved forward reminded me personally of how those we have lost live on in the memories we hold and by enjoying and cherishing the things those lost loved.

Thank you Ms. Dalton for allowing Kade to yet again touch my life and for reminding me that with memories come pain but with memories also comes the smile left behind.

About Tymber Dalton

Tymber Dalton lives in southwest Florida with her husband (aka “The World’s Best Husband™”) and too many animals. The two-time EPIC award winner is the author of over 65 books and active in the BDSM lifestyle she frequently writes about.

When she’s not writing or out shooting skeet with friends, she can be found doing line edits or reading or thinking up something else to write. You can drop her a line through her website/blog and keep abreast of the latest news, views, snarkage, and general ramblings she feels like posting when the mood strikes her.

(Also published writing as Lesli Richardson, Macy Largo, and Tessa Monroe.)

I like to write my stories around the characters. I don’t “plot” my stories, I “pants” them. My characters are rarely perfect (and the perfect ones are usually first fodder for the bad nasties anyway). I like real characters, no matter how fantastic the story, that you can relate to and yet still escape with for a while. This means they’ll have warts and all.
