Baseball fans, sports enthusiasts, lovers of romance and amazing characters—K. Bromberg has knocked it out of the park with The Player duet—The Player and The Catch, both books in my #Top2017 list of favorites.

This has been a tough year with books quite honestly and Bromberg has given romance readers something to swoon about.

What happens when you have a Hot Shot baseball player and a strong-minded PT proving herself in a man’s world assigned to help him recover to get back in the game he loves?

You get heat and chemistry beyond words and fun sexual innuendo that will make you smile and laugh out loud but besides that you get an unexpected heartwarming story that touches your heart and soul.

Without revealing too much about this series because it is a #MustRead for this year, Easton Wylder is injured in a game and Scout Dalton is there to help him mend. Easton may seem cocky and definitely proves to be irresistible but there is more than meets the eye with this gorgeous man. He has met his match in fiery Scout who gets him and understands him better than anyone else. Two people with backstories that pulled at my heartstrings that were in my mind completely made for each other—just perfection.

What I loved about Easton was that he was never a bad boy, a jerk out to get the girl. Yes he was persistent but in the best possible way—using his romantic words and gestures to get the girl to trust him and believe in him.
I was lucky enough to read these books back to back and thank goodness for that because at the end of The Player I was all “OMG WTF JUST HAPPENED?”

The Catch picks up where The Player ended and there are so many secrets and questions and honestly I didn’t know who or what to trust. I devoured this book because I had to get the answers, I had to know what happens. And because I won’t be revealing anything and spoiling it for you, I will just say WOW!!! WOW!! WOW!!!! I did not see a lot of this coming and was completely shocked about events that transpired in this book.

The Catch comes full circle and we learn even more about the characters, things that will make tears come to your eyes as your heart breaks for them. But the light at the end of the tunnel was the character growth, the love that never wavered, the bond of family, and the feeling of closing this book and feeling the magic emit from its pages because this series is something so very, VERY special.

I have loved other books from this author but these are my favorites to date. Easton and Scout made my book heart so very happy <3

Keep a clear mind and a full heart when you read this masterpiece by K. Bromberg—you will fall in love just as I did <3
