room for you
SynopsisFour years ago, my dreams were shattered in an instant.

I tried to pick up the pieces and glue them back together the best I knew how, but something was always missing.

A father for my two girls.

But then, Brody Murphy landed on my doorstep, literally. He was a carefree, playful hockey player who barged into my life and messed with my head. He left me more confused than I had ever been.

What if the one thing I thought I needed was the only thing holding me back?

SynopsisFour years ago, my dreams were shattered in an instant.

Three months ago, I found something I haven’t had in years.
Hope.
That hope came in the form of a sexy, carefree hockey player named Brody Murphy. He swooped in and won me over with his big heart and the way he cared for me…and my girls. When they look at him, they see the father they’ve never had.

Now, my past and present are colliding and the outcome might just be too much for me to bear. Can I make the right decision when I’ve spent my whole life making the wrong ones?

ReviewDenise’s 4 STAR Review!

I am going to attempt to write a spoiler free review that relays my love of this story of both books as a journey to a happy for Brody and Kacie.

Room for You and Room for More tell a heart warming story of Kacie, the single mom of two twins, and Brody Murphy, an NHL goalie, a man who stumbles in Kacie’s mom’s Inn. Be warned – have both books downloaded to your kindle before you start because the end of book 1 will have you needed book 2 NOW.

Brody stole my heart very quickly and I thoroughly enjoyed the journey he and Kacie take to get to their happy!

I want to start by saying that I am amazed that Room for you was a debut novel. Room for You pulled me right into the story, I love when that happens! This is the kind of book your brain will wander off to during your day.  The opening will likely remind most parents of a moment with their little one and in this case Kacie’s twins Piper and Lucy are so adorable, I wanted to hug them and read more.

From the moment Brody and Diesel (his lovable and faithful fuzzy companion) walk into the story, I was taken by them. Brody is honest, and heartwarming. His desire to make Kacie happy and his respect for her as a devoted mom warmed my soul.  Brody’s interactions with the twins and with Kacie’s mom allows the reader to see just how much Brody cares and wants to be a part of Kacie’s life.

I love dialogue rich books, this series delivers that with conversations between the characters, text messages and wonderful banter between characters.

This book also gives you characters to hate; ones who are solely out for their own gain. The level of hate these characters pulled from showed me how much these book got into my soul. Because, yes I wanted to scream back and defend Kacie.

Room for More picks up where Room for You leaves off. In book 2, I loved the play on the word “MORE”, it truly tied into the title.

This book brought so many new characters, I want to pause and say I loved Darla, I loved her telling Kendall off and I can’t wait to see how things play out with her and Viper (Brody’s friend and teammate).

As Kacie and Brody try to make this relationship work at the end of book 1 or more accurately Kacie’s past starts to collide with her present ……how this plays out will determine the fate of so many.

For much of Room for More, I was very frustrated with Kacie and when things blow up in her face, I wanted to shake my kindle and scream helloooooo you caused this but then I wanted Kacie to fight like hell to get Brody back.

I will not tell you the why or how this plays out but I will say I loved the end, it worked with the characters painted and it left me knowing this couple was in for the long-haul building a family together.

Room for More’s epilogue may be one of the best I have ever read, not just the end that was painted but how it was handled was masterful. The use of an item from Kacie’s past and the thought put into the gift made me love Brody even more. The item’s story telling capacity brought a whole new level of respect for the author who crafted a unique story that allows the reader to “see” the time gap between the last chapter and the epilogue… no I am not telling what I mean…read the books to find out. I truly think you will agree!

I am so excited the read Viper’s book! And I hope, Ms. Ehemann will write a happy for Andy, Brody’s best friend and agent.

I loved these two books. Your review is so accurate. I read them months ago but felt like you brought back the whole story. I really couldn’t believe these were her first books either. I am so excited for next May when I will hopefully get to meet Ms Eheman in person!
