4.5 STARS!!!

Summary

Self-made billionaires Zane and Trey have been a club of two since they were eighteen. They’ve done everything together: play football, fall in love, even get smacked around by their dads. The only thing they haven’t tried is seducing the same woman.

Rebecca learned early on not to trust anyone. She raised her brothers by herself—with no adult being the wiser. Her knack for cooking kept a roof over the twins’ heads. Now she’s damned if it won’t pay their way through Harvard as well. Add in running Trey’s latest restaurant, and her plate is way too full for romance.

That’s an attitude the bad boys intend to change. Zane and Trey have set their sights on the sexy chef. When their hearts enter the equation and they both fall for her, this committed twosome faces their hardest test of all!

Adult-content rating: This book contains content considered unsuitable for young readers 17 and under, and which may be offensive to some readers of all ages.

Denise’s Review

Self-made billionaires Zane and Trey have been inseparable since they were eighteen. They bonded and found each other due to shared experiences that included abusive fathers and being bisexual.

I have to say off the bat that the boys coming up with the name Bad Boys Club was very entertaining J

The boys think their life is on track.  They quietly have each other and they allow women to come in out of their beds.  No woman could threaten what they have; well that is until they meet Rebecca.

Rebecca also comes with a less than perfect childhood experience – abandoned by her father and left to raise her younger twin brothers, Rebecca is an ambitious and strong woman who thinks her life is just fine without a man it.

Rebecca’s first encounter with each man separately is powerful.  You can feel the passion and heat when she gives into this attraction. Rebecca knows the boys reputation and is convinced neither is relationship material.

When the boys decide Rebecca is the one to complete them, things get hot and powerful.  Ms. Holly also makes this feel very realistic as the men feel jealously and Zane questions if can truly be himself without being judged. Over the course of the book, Zane’s personal growth warmed my heart!

Zane and Trevor allow Rebecca to see and experience things about themselves that no one has ever been allowed to see. You can feel the raw emotion as the men drop their guard and allow Rebecca into their world.  I truly enjoyed them sharing things they never let anyone else see and lets just say the use of Trevor’s tattoo was really well done!

Rebecca’s brothers added another layer to this story which was used really well.

The question becomes when the outside world threatens their newly discovered happiness, will this pull them apart or draw them together?  Well, you will just have to read this to find out!

This review terrifically sells me on this latest Emma Holly title (she’s always a fave of mine). I love hearing about the conflict, the character growth and my personal appreciation of flawed characters overcoming self-doubt and difficult lives always adds to the enjoyment of a hot, sexy romance story. If things are too perfect, after all, where’s the fun in that?
