Welcome to our new feature… Shh Moms LOVE! We know that this is primarily a book blog and an outlet for us to share our love of books and authors. But as moms and wives and businesswomen, we wanted to try something new. We wanted to share our love of all things—whether it be things we love while we travel, things we love about the sports and activities our kids do, or just things we love that we want to share in general, we wanted to open up our blog and expand things going forward. The new feature will also allow you to get to know us a bit more, beyond our love of great books. We hope many of you will comment and share as we venture on this journey together,

For our first post of Shh Moms Love, Denise wanted to share her love of all things… DISNEY!

My heart is so happy that we get to start this new feature with my love for Disney. If you know me personally, you know I LOVE Disney—both Disney World and the Disney Cruise Ships and you know we are a Disney family!

For this trip I did something a bit different when packing… I packed with packing cubes…. WOW it made a huge difference both when packing to arrive and when packing to return home! It made it easy to organize each person’s clothes and even better the boys weren’t constantly screaming “MOM, where is my…..” Each boy had different color packing cube and each had park clothes in one cube and dinner clothes in another! http://amzn.to/2vSyPym

Before you depart for Walt Disney World® Resort make sure to download the My Disney Experience App http://bit.ly/MyDisneyE. This app will help you manage your Fastpasses, Dining Reversions, Navigate each park and show you the photos taken by the Disney team minutes after they are taken! My 14 year old was super helpful during the trip moving and planning our evening once our first three Fastpasses were used!

I would also recommend the Shop Disney Parks App http://bit.ly/DisneyShopParks. This app was very helpful to us one day when a store was sold out of the shirt size my older son wanted. The App let us know what store on property still had the shirt in the correct size in stock, the app will even give you the option of having an item sent direct to your hotel room if you are staying at a Disney hotel!

This year our family vacation to Walt Disney World® Resort was extra special as it overlapped with the RWA conference! It was so special to spend an evening with a few authors I love and many who have supported The Keith Milano Memorial Fund www.keithmilano.org and its efforts to raise awareness for mental health.

During our vacation, we were provided with some outstanding, truly beyond Disney service and thanks to the power of social media those cast members received #CastCompliments from Disney!
