I loved that All It Takes and this series is set in New York City 🗽 …. the author does such a great job with the city it almost feels like another character.

All it Takes in book 2 in Ms Proby’s Romancing Manhattan series and is very easily read stand alone… we don’t meet the heroine until this book!

The hero Quinn Cavanaugh is partner in a high power law firm while Sienna Hendricks who is also a lawyer prefers the balance her law job offers her.

Quinn and Sienna go head to head over land…. expensive New York City real estate. This deal has family ties for Sienna and this part was so very touching (and continued to be as she digs for “evidence” in the case)

The ease these two have with each other is evident from almost the first time they interact and the chemistry drips off the pages.

You get to spend so much time with Quinn and Sienna and if I really think about it, I think that is often one of my favorite things about a Proby book; you get to see, really see the couple bonding. This book also had another Proby favorite of mine; great dialogue.

The how the case resolves was a twist that pulled at my heart but the happy these two lawyers create is so perfect for them!

I  so hoping book 3 in the series is a happy for the third partner in the firm Finn and Quinn’s brother in law, Carter, the widower and single dad to teenage Gabby.
