I don’t want to reveal too much because this story is so special and needs to be experienced by the reader, so instead, I will tell you how it made me feel.

Grief and loss are so heartbreaking and so emotional. I have recently lost loved ones to sickness and cancer and so experiencing this story and feeling the pain and love of these characters was so real. I could feel it in my soul. Each and every character in this book was so precious and unique.

Suzanne has always been glitter and confetti. Knowing her is a gift. Loving her is life.

We are always told to not waste a single minute and to live life to the fullest and this book is that… it is telling us to live courageously, to find happiness even when there is despair and you don’t know if you can move forward.

How do you redefine yourself when what you felt like the most important part of you no longer exists?

I have not read many Jewel E. Ann books but this one is by far my favorite to date. From the heartbreak comes the hope that something magnificent will happen that will build your heart back together again and it did… it SO did. From Zachary Hays, the epitome of what a husband should be, to Suzie, his wife, and Emersyn, the woman they take in and help to turn her life around in the most selfless of ways. Their friendship and unwavering love is something that was a true blessing to witness and I’m so grateful I was able to experience this ride.

This book is simply beautiful… unforgettable and unputdownable and a TOP FAVORITE of 2023. A must-read!
