I loved Brazen by Willa Nash (Devney Perry) is the story of Kerrigan Hale, a character who appears in prior books in the series, and Pierce Gray who is new to readers.

Pierce Sullivan is the grandson of Kerrigan’s mentor, Gabriel. I mention this upfront because it is this dynamic and unique storyline that makes this book so much fun!

Kerrigan is a fiercely independent woman who is trying to carve out her space in town, trying to build her business….

The banter in this book is EPIC… it builds the relationship, heightens the reader’s experience, and highlights this author’s talent!

As these “adversaries” are put into each other’s orbit, as the perceived notions lead to deeper understanding the relationship heats up.

These two are made for each other and I think that is so much of what made this an easy and truly enjoyable read!

I adore the Calamity Montana series and I am so excited for Nellie and Cal in The Bully next!
