Breakaway by Kindle Alexander was such an amazing read… Dallas and Greer’s path to happy allows the reader to experience first hand their developing bond and feel the smoking hot connection!

Greer Lockhart is a successful venture capitalist focused on eco-friendly initiatives while Dallas Reigns doing everything he can to get the venture he and his brothers started off the ground, BikeBro off the ground. I love the relevance of both these businesses to the current day.

Side Note, I did much of my reading while reading on my Peloton to yes a gay instructor.

Ok back to the story…. the how these two men seemingly unconnected come together was really well done.

The weave of Tristan and Dylan from Secret was EPIC (no worries if you didn’t read it) these two support the path of BikeBro and move the story forward as a bridge connecting the struggling company with Greer’s VC money.

If you read Secret you will smile BIG as the glimpse of this happy couple living their best life!

And when Greer finds out the WHO Dallas is well…. this book got even better!

The transformation of BikeBro to StreamTrainer highlighted soo much about this story…

Dallas’ journey was about so much more than accepting his sexuality it was about growing into himself… accepting himself allows new found confidence to shine through, one Greer helps him hone as Dallas becomes the face of this growing brand.

Despite the epilogue… ughh… I need.. I WANT more…. yes, they are happy, yes I smiled big.. but I LOVE THEM… and I want to see these two.. well as you can see they took hold of my heart!

I really hope Dallas’ brother Ducky get a story … he was such an endearing character and quite frankly I want to return to this world!

Side note… if you have never read a gay romance before Breakaway is a great first read; it screams love is love and that allowing yourself to be yourself provides real happy.
