Now…who’s first?

So I want to start off by saying how I LOVE this cover…this is a face that is heart stopping and memorable and I had him in my mind throughout my whole read…and seriously the blurb…how can you not want to pick up this book ASAP and meet Justice Drake?!?!

Justice Drake!!!  A new book boyfriend on my list and not just because of his pretty face…but because of his knowledge and expertise and what you find deep down in his heart at the end of this new book by S.L. Jennings.

I loved Fear of Falling and admittedly I still need to read Ms. Jennings Dark Light series but I have yet to be disappointed. Her writing is spot on, entertaining and captivating while her characters are so well developed and researched – in a word, her books are complete perfection.

I am enthralled by getting into the male POV’s mind especially when done right and Justice Drake’s character was done so well!  We all know that men think of only one thing and to get a man’s perspective on how to please your husband was a real treat – reading it, maybe we can all learn a thing or two right??  Justice is a sex expert to the super rich and famous, helping women who are having problems in their marriage keep their husband’s attention from wandering.

I have to say that Justice is brutally honest with the women he has to teach and I can’t help but think from the get go that he does this job to compensate for something he didn’t have in his life.  Justice has secrets and there is something deeper than this hard facade that he shows us.  He is lonely, has buried feelings of hurt and sadness and I don’t feel that his life is fully complete.

I enjoy the interactions between Justice and Allison Carr, one of the wives who is at Oasis to learn how to please her husband.  She is unlike the typical rich wives, she has a mind of her own, is playful and full of life and I enjoy watching how uncomfortable she makes Justice, making him feel things that he has never felt before.  Their chemistry and flirting mannerisms had me smiling for a lot of the book.

So I have to say that for the first 40% of the book, there isn’t any sex but Taint still manages to be sexy and erotic as hell.  The scenes that Ms. Jennings created so magnificently hot, that I found myself fanning myself from the deliciousness of it all!

As we continue on this journey with Justice and Ally and feelings and emotions grow, what is to become of these characters once secrets are revealed and that there is still a husband and marriage in the picture?  Is it right to stay and work on a marriage that is not based on true love and fidelity or do you take another path which may give you that happiness and love and connection you are looking for no matter what the cost?

You will have to read this book to find out!

There are some surprises in this book that will completely shock you but if you are looking for something fun to read that is original and not all about the sex but the romance too, then look no further.  You may pick up a trick or two as well.  😉
