If I am being honest, 2020 was a weird year for me. My Goodreads reading challenge was set at 50 books, which was the lowest ever, but I thought I would accomplish it and more. Sadly I did not. Reading has always been my escape and I lost that for a bit this year. I promise to do better next year and you will hear my voice more on the blog too as I continue to share my love of books.
There were some truly amazing gems that I did read this year, that filled my heart with such happiness that I was bursting at the seams. I hope you will give some of these a try.
Wishing you and yours a happy holiday season and a blessed 2021! ♥️
Just Be Her by Kaydence Snow – My favorite romance that had a bit of everything in it – opposites attract, billionaire romance, sister swap, a woman’s journey to finding herself, some HOT menage! OH MY!! 😍
Looking to Score by CoraLee June and Carrie Gray – My new favorite writing duo. Tons of humor, a charming football hero, unputdownable and unforgettable!
Sleeper by Kayley Loring – a new-to-me romcom author. A single dad romance, some of the funniest lines I have ever read, sexy, and the best kids ever! Kayley is my go-to for all romcom!
Rising West by Aly Stiles – a single father, rockstar romance. Beautiful musical lyrics, a sensitive hero, ALL THE FEELS!
Bastards and Scapegoats by CoraLee June – I can read EVERY SINGLE THING this author writes. Age-gap romance, heroine falls for her stepfather’s brother! Addictive, jaw-dropping, HOT, scandal around every corner! JUST WOW!
Shifter Wars by Kelly St. Clare – HOLY HOT WEREWOLVES! Reading PNR is a palette cleanser for me, something to read when I need something new, fresh, and different. The angst – OMG THE ANGST! I was blown away! A SEXY must-read!
I Promise You by Ilsa Madden-Mills – I can not believe this is my first Ilsa book! WOW! A second chance sports romance, a swoon-worthy hero – the chemistry – JUST WOW!
Wilder Love by Emery Rose – Emery Rose is a new author to me and I was mesmerized. A surfer hero, second chance love, a difficult journey, and all the tears – another must-read!
