I joined Jameson Force Security for three reasons: the missions, the danger, and the money. I definitely didn’t join the team to be an overpriced babysitter for a spoiled princess. Ask anyone who knows me, and they’ll tell you Jackson Gale is an adventurer through and through. Yet here I am, halfway across the world, watching over Princess Camille of the House Winterbourne. Even her name sounds stuck up.
After arriving in Bretaria, I realize that Princess Camille is nothing that I expected. Beautiful, smart, and sophisticated, Camille is the very picture of elegance and grace. But under her perfect façade, she is funny, adventurous, sexy as hell, and impossible to resist. And that is a dangerous combination.
The closer Camille and I become, the more obvious it is that while she and I are compatible in many ways, our destinies are not. She has a duty to the monarchy, and I’m just an average American who’s fallen for a princess. Everyone says we can’t be together, but how does one walk away from the other half of their heart?
Code Name: Tiara by Sawyer Bennett is the story of Jameson Security Force agent Jackson Gale, a former Navy SEAL who is not excited to be assigned to “babysit” Princess Camille Winterbourne.
It is very clear from almost the moment Jackson meets Camille she is not what he expected nor is this mission.
Camille is such a wonderful character …..a rare combination of smarts, vulnerability, and independence… all while trying to get Jackson to see her attraction to him!
This so not spoiled Princess and Jackson think giving into the attraction and setting an expiration date will keep emotions out of it… well I get since this is a romance novel you can guess how that goes..
I will not share the how this agent and Princess make love work but I will say I enjoyed every moment of this book!
I adored that Bennett gave backstory to the country Princess Camille was from and I adored that use of both the Royal family and the Gale family!
I truly hope we get to visit these two and this Royal Clan again… maybe just maybe Bennett has a story to tell about Princess Camille’s best friend, Marius <insert pretty please>
Though romantic suspense is not usually “my jam” I adore the Jameson Force Security series as Bennett ensures the romance is front and center and as is her style makes it clear the attraction the couple has for each other runs deeper than the circumstances.
I am so excited for Code Name: Disavowed as the blurb reads like a second chance romance… a sub-genre this author has rocked in the past!
