Aden aged out of Florida's foster care system. He built a life, bought a house...and fell in love with Niall, a blue-eyed Irish Dom who owned his heart. When Niall got a job in California, he took Aden's heart with him.
Niall regretted his move, but thought Aden would follow. Five years later, Niall's back and wants to reclaim what's his--Aden. He doesn't expect to run into Aden while teaching erotic hypnosis at a fetish convention. He wasn't expecting Aden to have gorgeous Etsu on his arm. He damn sure wasn't expecting to save Etsu's life in a malfunctioning elevator.
Etsu grew up smothered by a crazy-overprotective family and her asthma. With Aden, she can finally be herself. She can't help fantasizing about Niall and Aden together, or how sexy it'd be writhing in pleasure between them. The question is can they make this work, or will her family succeed yet again in driving away her chance at happiness?
Aden, Nail and Etsu yes, Empty-Handed Heart is a menage and is true Tymber fashion a HOT one.
When the reader meets these three, Etsu and Aden are in a commitment relationship, though one it is clear they aren’t yet fully committed to as the forever kind of relationship both having scars from the past.
Aden and Nail have history, deep, soul touching history from years ago. When Etsu and Aden run into Nail at a BDSM event wow did the sparks fly!
The first scene is crazy hot, and you do feel Nail’s connection to Etsu and hers to him.
The dynamic these two steps into is easy and feels natural for them. Etsu’s understanding of these men’s past, her desire for Aden to be truly happy was very altruistic, though I think it make me happier when I saw Etsu and Nail connecting her first responses to the men’s connection really was touching.
As soon as both embrace Nail, the forever becomes crystal clear no hesitant no doubts so to the really you do feel three is what is needed to make this a forever love.
Etsu’s family plays a critical role in this story, though my heart broke for her as the reader first experiencing her relationship wit them, her response for them toward the end of the book was a great example of character development and the way the men stand with her was so touching!
This book is easily read stand alone, I have read many books in this series though not all and had no issue following the story.
I do wish this book was a bit longer but I really did enjoy the journey.
