A swoony, heart-wrenching small-town romance from USA Today and Wall Street Journal bestseller Sarina Bowen!
Leila:
What I meant to do: quietly divorce my lout of a husband and then have a child all on my own.
What happens instead: my crush comes back to town when I’m at my most vulnerable. After too many cocktails, I ask him to be my baby’s father.
In my defense, it’s been a rough couple of months. Seeing Matteo Rossi again after fourteen years has done a number on my emotions. And my libido.
In the morning, I’m hoping he’s forgotten the whole thing. But no such luck. In fact, Matteo has a few clarifying questions. And a few naughty ideas, too…
Matteo:
What I meant to do: visit Vermont for my brother’s wedding. Make amends to my family, and mourn the loss of a friend.
What happens instead: a hot affair with the one who got away. But it can’t last. My life is two thousand miles away, and Leila deserves everything. She’s as good as gold.
Good as Gold by Sarina Bowen is a heartwarming and steamy tale that will leave you with a smile on your face and butterflies in your stomach.
In this captivating romance novel, Bowen weaves a story of second chances, unexpected questions, and the transformative power of love.
Follow the journey of Matteo who finds himself back in Vermont, and Leila, the woman he never forget when he left all those years ago.
With Bowen’s signature blend of wit, swoon-worthy moments, and unforgettable characters, Good as Gold will sweep you off your feet and transport you to a world where anything is possible.
Prepare for a rollercoaster of emotions as these navigate their way through twists and turns (often neglecting to communicate) and discover that sometimes the most precious things in life are worth fighting for.
So, grab a cozy spot, a cup of your favorite brew, and lose yourself in an engaging story.
Full disclosure I went into this one cold as I adore this series and this author. I LOVED that I did know where the story was headed and that I just enJOYed it as it unfolded.
Also, I ADORED the use of Matteo’s sister Zara.. so much so that I wish I had time to re-read her happy in Bountiful.
I am hoping that Leila’s brothers Nash and Mitch will both get their happy’s told!
