Keyes Dixon’s life is challenging enough as a full patch member of the Disciples of Havoc Motorcycle Club but being a gay biker leaves him traveling down one tough road. With an abusive past and his vow to the club cementing his future, he doesn’t believe in love and steers clear of commitment. But a midnight ride leads to a chance meeting with a sexy distraction that has him going down quicker than a Harley on ice.
Cocky Assistant District Attorney Alec Pierce lives in the shadow of his politically connected family. A life of privilege doesn’t equal a life of love, a fact made obvious at every family gathering. Driven yet lonely, Alec yields to his family’s demands for his career path, hoping for the acceptance he craves. Until he meets a gorgeous biker who tips the scales in the favor of truth and he can no longer live a lie.
Can two men from completely different worlds…and sides of the law…find common ground, or will all their desires only wreak Havoc?
While Havoc is a stand-alone with no cliffhanger, the story continues early 2019.
I read Havoc by Kindle Alexander because I adore this writing duo’s work!
Though m/c romances aren’t always something I gravitate to I am so happy I took a chance on this one as I adored baring witness to Alec and Keyes falling in love.
Keyes Dixon a member of the Disciples of Havoc Motorcycle Club life takes an unexpected turn when he encounters Assistant District Attorney Alec Pierce. I adored this first chance encounter by the way!
Though these men seem very different on the surface they have much more in common than they think. The how these men deal with their families, the pressure of expectations put on them, their families attitudes about their sexuality all make them feeling a connection deeper than sexual lust beyond believable.
For me personally what added to believably was there is no jumping in head first, there is trepidation, their is caution and concern as the relationship moves forward.
Yes, the reader feels the instant connection, you know this is different for each character but you always know as do the Keyes and Alec this won’t be easy for them.
I adored watching their bond and connection slowly built, I loved the ease and comfort they developed with each other!
Both character’s families added to the storyline they help the reader understand the main characters and they craft a world that pulls you in and keeps you glued to the story as it unfolds.
I am so excited for ORDER in 2019; I am looking forward to seeing how Alec and Keyes’ happy for now becomes a forever happy!
