I am a world-class thief. Or I was, before I got pinched and landed in prison. After I served my time, I decided to get on the right side of the law, or as much as my job at Jameson Force Security allows. The lines sometimes blur, which suits me just fine. My name might be Saint, but I’m a devil to most.
My plan to go legitimate is going as anticipated, until my past and present collide in a big way. While in Paris preparing to take down a ring of highly specialized thieves, I come face-to-face with my biggest threat—and my most dangerous temptation.
Sindaria “Sin” Westin was the love of my life, until her betrayal landed me behind bars. Now I’ve got to find a way to trust her again, at least long enough to pull off this job. When it becomes clear the price for this heist will be our lives, I realize I need to do whatever it takes to keep Sin safe, even if it means trading my life for hers. Because no matter the lies I’ve told myself, Sin’s greatest theft was the day she stole my heart.
Code Name: Heist by Sawyer Bennett was such a great read… when the main characters are nicknamed “Sin” and “Saint” you know you are in for some fun!
His past and a client of Jameson’s put him face to face and in the daily orbit of Sindaria “Sin” Westin, the love of his life and the reason he landed behind bars (I am not spoiling anything this is in the blurb)
As Saint and Sin worked together.. and I use that terms losing to start because both are forced to work together based on circumstances you can feel the walls dropping.
Saint is so very impressed with Sin skills and that made him even more fun to read; she lives in a world of alpha males and fits it just fine. This is a romantic suspense so there is danger and the reality of how do you make love work with at the moment criminal behavior is all you know.
There is no doubt these two have chemistry that bleeds off the pages… but trust… trust is paramount to long-term happy.
The use of Sin’s father was so very perfect.
In the end I truly believed Sin and Saint put the past and some of the present behind them (nope not telling read the book) to craft a happy perfect for them.
And yes there is a big smile epilogue chapter at the end!
I adore the Jameson Force team ….Oh and I need Malik’s story in Code Name: Ghost NOW
