She’s maddeningly stubborn, and my deep desire to be with her soon has me writing massive checks. Not for jewelry or cars, but to charities. Winning Daphne’s heart is going to cost me, and I’m not sure even I have enough money to do it.

Olivier Durand and Daphne Barrington have one heck of a first encounter one made even more spectacular due to media coverage.

I adored how Daphne’s background made it so money was not the way to heart; Olivier’s creativity, the way this really forced him to think about how to impress her really endears him to the reader.

Sometimes healthy heroes just spent money, they don’t have to think you can just spend, and WOW the heroine is impressed and all swoony…..

I loved Daphne’s Grandma Jo, she brought some great humor to this one… And Giselle, Olivier’s teenage daughter, was what you would expect from teen but she did help kept Olivier real. I adored how he wanted to be a great dad and want to do his best to parent a teenage girl with insecurities.

For the fan of the series, this book will suck you are in as the gang is all there!
