From the bestselling author of The Ravenhood Trilogy comes a angsty, steamy journey filled with love, loss, and self discovery.

Thirty years ago, my father became the other half of a broken love story.

A relationship he’s kept hidden for decades.

Upon unearthing his secret through a series of emails in our paper’s archives, I began my search for the truth. Haunted by my father’s love story, and in my quest for answers, I never imagined I would discover a love of my own. Or that my love for Easton Crowne would be key in discovering the reason behind what split our parents up.

Doomed from the start and knowing the havoc our relationship would inevitably wreak on our families, I could never have prepared for the toll it would take or the cost of the truth.

But in order to find our ending, we had to go back to their beginning.

My name is Natalie Butler, and this is my star-crossed love story.

The Bittersweet Symphony Duet
#1 Drive
#2 Reverse

*Both books in the duet must be read in order.

It’s been a couple of days since I finished Reverse and I am not sure I have the right words to give justice to this beautiful masterpiece that consumed me for days, that I spent every waking moment thinking about, and that long after I have finished, I want to dive back into again and read all over again.

Reverse is the story of Nate Butler and Stella Crowne’s beloved children—Easton and Natalie. If you have not read Drive, stop now and read it. I truly wish that I read it again before diving into this one.

Easton and Natalie meet in the most unconventional way. Natalie has found old love letter emails between her dad and Stella and it changes the way she has ever seen the loving relationship between her parents. Were they “the one that got away”? Did her parents settle for each other? Natalie, similar to her father and a journalist, needs to find out and uses the excuse of Easton’s upcoming album to interview him to find out more about the Crowne family.

What she found in Easton was much more than she ever thought possible…

I felt like I read this book with a ball in the back of my throat. Reading the emails between Nate and Stella brought me back to Drive and hurt my heart all over again. Natalie and Easton… Their moments of lightheartedness put a smile on my face. Watching them give into their attraction was just WOW and the fall of the aftermath, when their secret is revealed, the want, the need, the tears falling from my eyes were very real and my heart was completely annihilated. I knew it would be bad but the pain and devastation just broke me.

Time is ticking and Easton’s fight for Natalie was relentless and I just loved him so so SO much. He is probably one of my most favorite book boyfriends EVER. I feel like I say this a lot… but I mean it with him. HE IS THE BEST EVER!

Their journey is not for the faint of heart. The back and forth, the lost time… It is full circle for all the characters… beautiful, heartbreaking, emotional, a complete roller coaster but there is also hope, so much hope and above all else… a true love that transcends all. I’m crying again writing this review and thinking about this journey—the highs, the lows, all the tears I cried. But this is why I read romance—to feel, to experience all the words.

Stewart captured my heart and I became a forever fan with Drive… with Reverse, she broke me and I don’t know what to read next… it’s THAT GOOD. Stewart is talented and awe-inspiring and a true genius. Well done!

All the stars!
