Love isn’t always neat and tidy.
I love my husband…and his boyfriend.
And he loves us. Love isn’t always neat and tidy.
Unfortunately, there are those who don’t understand. When we finally decide to be a family together, it means we have to fight to keep what we love before others rip us apart.
Lesli Richardson is the writer behind the curtain of her better-known pen name, Tymber Dalton. As many of you know I adore Tymber’s work hence why I was so eager to read Poly!
The blurb let’s the reader know this is so much more than boy meets girl and they live happily ever after, this is a read that expands happy beyond two partners.
Arlo and Zoey are married and raising her son from a prior marriage Lucas. I am going to diverge for a second and say the use of Lucas throughout the story was masterful and will pull at the readers heartstrings many times throughout the book.
Ok back to the LOVE ….. Arlo and Nolan have been friends since high school and well they love each other.. well the three of them…. Arlo, Zoey and Nolan love each other. This book is about the how they make that work as their relationship comes out in the open.
This author knows how to write relationships and I think that is so key for a book like this because for most who read it the dynamic is beyond anything they can image for themselves. The author will have you believing Arlo, Zoey and Nolan belong together!
Side note and I do not want to spoil anything so I will just say I love the relevance of the story line with Nolan’s daughter, Katie!
I was lucky enough to read this book straight through and it made my heart soar!
