I love Kyla’s books…the angst, the torture, the steam and most of all the love that is incorporated throughout each and every story she creates. For the Record was the perfect conclusion to Brady and Liz’s story. Their journey hasn’t been an easy one and For the Record will finally answer the question that these two have been asking since book 1 – in the game of love and politics, is it worth the risk?

For me, the answer has always been a big resounding YES! For me, love is always worth the risk; you can’t truly live life if you don’t take risks; you have to live life with no regrets.  In For the Record, Brady and Liz will learn how to be with each other again; accepting his life in the spotlight and the sacrifices that sometimes have to be made being a politician.

Things that I LOVED:

• Kyla writes heat like no other…Brady and Liz’s attraction to each other has always been apparent; their connection sizzles and I loved being able to experience each and every moment they were together. #HOT
• Brady really made me proud in this installment of the series – he had a lot to learn with regards to relationships; the equality that goes into relationships – the give and take. I adored the times that he put himself and Liz first while still maintaining life in the public eye. Their life is extravagant, being in the public eye is hard because judgments are always going to be made about them but he always kept it classy. Most important, Liz was always present at his side and this was a HUGE statement for him to make because he was saying she was here to stay and that made my heart happy.
• I truly enjoyed the little treat we had at the end with the final chapter being in Brady’s POV plus the epilogue was pure bliss. By the end of the book, I had chills (in a good way!) and I was truly happy to see their life come full circle.

Ms. Linde has a true fan in me…I have been reading her since her fiction press days and I will continue to do so because I LOVE that she writes different things…unexpected storylines and characters to fall completely in love with.  She gets better and better with each book and I couldn’t be more prouder! <3
