Thea and Ramsey’s story will grab a hold of you from the opening pages and it will not let go until … well I am not sure when because I am done and the story is still holding onto me.

I do not want to spoil anything, not a single word of this epic journey. I have been a fan of Martinez’s unique storytelling for years and well she continues to impress.  This truly original story belongs on the big screen (as do some of her other words)

This story weaves the past with the present as the reader learns the depth of the bond between Thea and Ramsey.

A huge thank you to the author for the breathtaking beautifully story and for the beyond perfect epilogue, after the roller coaster of deep emotions and all this couples does through to discover the happy meant for them the extra look at happy was much needed.

My warning…. when you pick this book up make sure you can put the outside world on hold… Why? Because that one ore chapter promise bookworms make while reading just won’t hold up once you start this one!

I have never read an Aly Martinez book… I have several on my kindle and it’s just not having enough time to keep up that has kept me from reading one of her books. I wanted to start off this year reading books from authors I have never read before and after reading the blurb, I knew that I wanted this to be my first Martinez book. And WOW… what a masterpiece!
I love the friends to lovers/second chance romance trope and this was right up my alley.
I laughed, I cried (the tears omg!), I smiled and I rejoiced… the friendship and love that Ramsey and Thea shared throughout grief, sadness, separation was simply beautiful. To be LOVED by a man like Ramsey, who all men should be like, was something to cherish… it made my heart soar.

This journey that Thea and Ramsey make together is a tough one—from start to finish—but I was on that ride… living and breathing it with them because their story consumed me.

I am IN LOVE with Martinez’s writing and I can’t wait to read the books I already have on my kindle and catch up to what I have been missing. This is my third book to read in 2020 and my FIRST top fave of 2020… Unforgettable, breathtaking, mind blowing, beautiful —I will never forget this story that gave me ALL THE FEELS and made my book loving heart so very happy. ❤️
