I highly recommend reading book 1 Falling Into You and book 2 Falling Into Us before you read Falling Under.

Falling Under is the story of Kylie Calloway, Colton and Nell’s daughter from book 1 Falling Into You and Oz Hyde a character the reader meets as this book opens.

This book was wonderfully told in multiple POV’s, you get point of view of Oz Hyde and Colton Calloway; yes you read the hero and the heroine’s father. I truly enjoyed hearing from Oz and Colton; it added to the read and truly offered a unique perspective.

I want to say early on that this review will be shorter NOT due to a lack of love for the story but due to the fact I do not want to spoil the readers experience, I loved experiencing this journey first hand and I want the reader to as well. The twist this plot layered all three books in the series and helps drive the story forward.

Kylie and Oz’s attraction is one the reader can feel early on. It is clear to the reader Kylie is different for Oz and it is clear that Kylie is determined to get Oz to admit that. I loved watching these two take things slow; allowing a friendship to form as Oz lets someone into his life as he was never able to before. As for Kylie, she is a young 17 when the book opens and although I was a bit hesitant at first regarding her ability to find forever in the end I truly believed Kylie and Oz were destined to be together.

Ms. Wilder did an outstanding job showing the reader Kylie’s maturity and though Oz is older, Kylie often times was the driven one, the one determined to build a full life. Maybe that is due to circumstances of their childhood but whatever the reason it felt true to the characters developed.

For me, I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the wonderful young lady Colt and Nell raised. And witnessing Kylie show Oz what life can be when you are loved unconditionally; when you embrace the love offered; well it captured my heart!

Falling Under yet again highlighted Ms. Wilder’s amazing ability to write heartfelt and soul moving song lyrics; I hope someday she finds a composer who can help bring these songs to life! The lyrics spoke to the characters feelings, added to the story and at times brought a mist to my eyes.

Ms. Wilder pulled off writing a book that takes place years after book 1; it flowed seamlessly and I thoroughly enjoyed reading and reliving the life that Colt and Nell built for themselves.

I absolutely loved loved the end of this book; did I say I loved the end because I did. It illustrated love on so many levels that it kept a smile on face even after I closed my kindle.

Falling Under did leave me wanting more; not for lack of happy but for the one who did not get theirs. Not saying anymore except Ms. Wilder please give him his happy!!!
