This is a beautifully written and original story that felt real and true to the characters crafted through this author’s flawless writing.

When we meet Nick and Bryce they are strangers who become neighbors. We witness them develop a friendship, one that becomes a deep bond that turns physical, something neither of these seemingly straight men suspects. The natural progress of this relationship was engaging and beautiful to bare witness to. I fell in love with this book as I got to know Nick and Bryce.

Yes, these men struggle as their feelings develop, their apprehension towards those new feelings, the obstacles they face with both of their families and those around them was so well done.

Nick and Bryce found a true happy with each other. This story was not about gender but a true pull to the person who is your soulmate.  Lines like this make you believe happy is about love not about gender….

I loved witnessing these men explore their sexuality, their openness to try new things, to explore, to want to make each feel good and to connect on a physical level. Along these lines the visit to the sex shop was hysterical!

Nick is a divorced man who finally sees the power of true love and Bryce is a man who never really felt a deep connection to another person.  Despite others reservations about Bryce, he is so sincere throughout this book

“You’re the only risk I’ve ever taken, Nick. Nothing else could hurt me except you. “

As these men connect, they both feel things for each other they have never felt before.

“It’s like you filled this place in my world that I didn’t know needed to be filled. Hell, I didn’t even know it was there before you came and claimed it. Wanting you is the only thing I’m sure of. I don’t know how it happened or why, but I know it’s there.”

Ms. Riley did an amazing job with the tie into this book’s title; it made for a wonderfully touching scene and wrapped into a heart pulling epilogue.
