Goodreads
A filthy proposition.
Too much money to say no.
One dirty night in a stranger's bed. While my husband watches.
Wow, just WOW… I need to really try to figure out how to put my love of this story into words.
As the blurb suggested this book was hot—like smoking hot—but it was so much more than that. Even in the filthiest moments while one character was trying to use pleasure to control, another was pushing for an emotional connection that would turn the tide.
I know, I know… sooooo vague. You see that is intentional as I want the reader to truly experience this book as I did in all its sweet, hot, and emotionally-charged glory.
But I digress… you see I was in a book funk, struggling to even pick up my kindle so I did something I haven’t done is so long… I read a blurb and 1-clicked knowing nothing else about the book and WOW am I glad I did.
The reader meets Grace and Brett Foster up to their eyeballs in debt… when a mysterious and wealthy man offers a solution… a hot one! Thomas, as the blurb reveals, offers a solution in exchange for a night with Grace while her husband watches.
The lead up to this offer really allows the reader to buy into them accepting the proposition.
I am not really sure I want to say much more than this. The story that unfolds is beautifully written, soul touching in a panty-wetting fashion—one that keeps the reader engaged and wanting to know where this story will go.
I do want to say I never (not once) questioned Grace and Brett’s love for each other. Their relationship was beyond solid even when they fought; the happy they seek continued to grow as all good relationships should if they want to be together forever.
Thomas, well Thomas is something else… and as Thomas opens up about Tom (yes vague I know) this book takes the cast and reader to a whole new level of did that just happen?!?
In the end WOW, just WOW… the epilogue to this sweetly, hot book brought tears to my eyes and the emotion pulled from the reader really speaks to the author’s talent!
I did have one big major issue with this book… I read it too fast… a few times I did force myself to read slower, to enjoy the story but time and time again I kept upping my reading speed because I really wanted to know where this one was going and how the author was going to pull it off.
