So the blurb for this one grabbed me:

I will digress a bit and say that when Clare figured out she was ready, it was so perfect. I am often impatient in life (just ask Christine lol) and when I read this book I was impatient as well….so though I am not sure I could hold the letter as long as Clare did and though I was dying to know what Ethan wrote, how it played out fit so well and truly worked for the character crafted.

Ok back to the story… I adored Logan Matthews from almost the moment we meet this sexy doctor. Clare as a single mom to adorable Maddie pulled at my heart strings so many times throughout this story.

Both Logan and Clare have pasts. They are adults with prior life experiences that come to each in such an honest fashion and with such a pull that the reader will likely find themselves instantly rooting for this couple.

Logan was so patient, kind, and thoughtful. Clare brought something out in him, something he wasn’t even sure he had. His respect for her loss touched my soul.
“Clare, this… what we’re doing. It has to be all or nothing. And I want all of you. When you cry, I want to be the one holding you. No matter the reason. So please. Let me hold you.”

The use of friends and family in this one added to the story and its development.

Ready to Wed takes place between the last chapter and the epilogue of When You’re Ready and I will say upfront after reading Ready to Wed, I did have to go back and re-read the epilogue just to get the extra smile!

This line speaks volumes for this one:
Love is a risk, there are no guarantees. But, in the end, it is always, always worth it.
