I have really loved every Jewel E Ann book I’ve read. This was such a fun rom-com and I just loved every minute. I found myself smiling at my Kindle and laughing out loud… it was so SO good!
From Eric’s antics and banter and his delicious smirk… let’s not even talk about the mating dance LOL. Eric’s relentlessness really endeared him to my heart. His heart really shined throughout this book and made him one of my favorite book boyfriends ever!
I did feel conflicted about Anna at first. I didn’t understand why she couldn’t get over his review of one of her favorite books… until it was revealed and I got it. At first, I just wanted her to get over her ego so desperately, but I understood her insecurity. I guess I just kept wishing that she saw that Eric’s words were never meant to intentionally hurt her. 🙁
But it’s not over for these two despite how they left things off, the words that they did and did not say. I was so happy when it all turned around in the best way possible.
This was a light, quick read that I needed to get me over my reading slump. ❤️ I will read anything this author writes… anything… even her grocery list lol Her words are magical ❤️
