From New York Times Bestselling Author Kristen Proby comes Stay With Me, an all new addition to the series that has sold more than a million copies to date, her beloved With Me In Seattle Series!
Amelia Montgomery has left her past behind her. With a beauty and fashion career that’s skyrocketing and a loving family around her, everything else is just junk in the rearview mirror.
Until it’s not.
When she has to drop out of the public eye, her cousin Jules offers her a new, temporary life on the Puget Sound. Her past may be catching up with her, but hope for the future is in Seattle.
Wyatt Crawford can’t figure out the enigmatic beauty who’s living next door. As an architect, he’s usually good at looking beneath the surface—but she barely even leaves her house.
Until she needs his help.
When she knocks on his door, how can he resist? It isn’t long before Wyatt and Amelia become more than just neighbors. But when he finally learns the truth, will the skeletons in her closet be too much for him to handle, or will he stay?
I was so excited to #ReturnToSeattle with Kristen Proby with the release of Stay with Me a new book in the With Me in Seattle series that launched her career!
If you’ve read her best selling With Me Series, you know why I was excited the moment I saw Stay with Me was releasing!
The heroine in this one is Amelia Montgomery, yes more Montgomerys, Amelia’s is the first cousin to the Montgomery clan the series centers around.
Wyatt Crawford was wow, this architect who works from home was honest and compassionate. He was a man with definitely sex appeal but I loved that he wasn’t a manwhore.
Amelia is returning home to be with her family and she too works from home I will let some of this play out for you when you read but I will say Wyatt’s support of Amelia’s career, really their mutual respect of each others career, was something I truly adored!
As these two allow each other into the other’s life the pain of the pasts rears it’s ugly head… the balance of wanting to embrace what is in front of you without life experience clouding your vision was a strong theme here.
This is a true return to the series as Ms Proby masterfully weaves the cast from the prior books into the plot offering the reader both fun looks at their current lives and support for Amelia as she rebuilds her life back in Seattle with her family.
And …that… that is the one thing that had me throughout the book; this book felt like coming home; like sitting down with friends; Will is still hysterical (and he has a great scene or two), Jules still teases Nat about her kissing Luke and well…… I simply couldn’t put this book down…
Ok well full disclosure… I did put it down a few times to dip in the pool but in my defense it’s HOT in the desert!
I am so looking forward to more writing in this world, I hope Archer and Anastasia Montgomery (Amelia’s siblings) get stories and… and.. I hope Wyatt’s brother Jace and Levi do as well. Speaking of the Crawford men, I love how they intertwined into this world, Levi working with Matt and Jace, well Jace the surgeon has a few wonderful scenes that I won’t spoil. Jace would be my I hope he comes next pick but I just happy this series has a new life!
In the end the happy Amelia and Wyatt find is the happy each was meant to have and in the end this continues to be must read series for me! Thank you, Kristen Proby for allowing readers to return to this world.
Side Note: If you haven’t read the With Me in Seattle Series by Kristen Proby I highly recommend it as a binge summer series read!
