I loved that this book showcased a female lead who was ex-military with PTSD. Carmina struggles were tangible as was her desire to push forward with her life.
Tom and Danny were both heroes who I enjoyed reading about; the connection between them and Carmina was tangible to the reader.
This menage worked for me, I genuinely […]

New Release & Review: Wish You Were Here by Renee Carlino
Another Carlino masterpiece! Emotional and heartbreaking comes to mind when I think of Wish You Were Here.
While I enjoyed a lot of this book, the characters, the relationships—unfortunately this was not my favorite of hers though I loved the relationships and support between all the characters. This one hit close to home for me as […]
Review: The Edge of Us by Veronica Larsen
This was my first book to read by Veronica Larsen and will not be my last—she has found a new fan in me.
The Edge of Us was recommended to me by the author’s publicist as I was a HUGE fan of the Black Swan Affair by KL Kreig. The blurb sucked me in and I […]

I enjoyed My Roommate’s Girl by Julianna Keyes…There are some books out now with the whole “roommate’s girl” story but this one is very different because of the way the hero wants to steal her 🙂
Aidan is a thief and when he’s caught stealing, he has two choices—go to prison or go to school. He […]

Review: A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas
I really enjoyed this series and am so excited to hear that there will be more in the future about secondary characters.
I was so excited to get the conclusion to Feyre and Rhys’s story in A Court of Wings and Ruin. There was the right amount of humor, angst, anxiety, and heat. I LOVE their […]
Review: Bombell by C.D. Reiss
I loved Brad in Shuttergirl and was so excited to see him get his story in Bombshell. I don’t read a ton of single dad books as Denise usually reads them for the blog but I had to pick this one up because I love C.D. Reiss, her writing style and her stories.
I LOVE stories […]
Review: The House Mate by Kendall Ryan
The blurb for The House Mate grabbed me from the moment the book was announced as I love single Dad books.
In The House Mate, Max Alexander is single dad to an adorable toddler named Dylan. I loved the story, the premise and backstory for this single dad. It was fun to witness that play out.
Due to […]
Undeclared by Julianna Keyes is LIVE!!!
Kellan McVey is known at Burnham College for having a long list of conquests. For those who read book 1, Undecided, you will remember him going through this list and calling people on it when he was having…ahem..issues o.O
Kellan is known for being a lady’s man, but he is more than that as he is athletic, is […]
Review of Hit the Spot by J. Daniels
I read Hit the Spot following right after book 1, Four Letter Word and honestly liked this book better. But Jamie captured my heart in book 1 when we met him and I couldn’t wait to get his story.
Jamie and Tori (aka Legs) have had an ongoing 9 month push/pull relationship. Jamie comes into Whitecaps (Tori’s […]
