Bestselling authors Sarina Bowen and Lauren Blakely team up for the first time in an enemies-to-lovers, opposites-attract, irresistibly sexy standalone romance between the best man and the other best man!
In my defense, I was left alone with a bottle of single-malt and a life-long penchant for protecting my baby sister. Still, that's no excuse to send ten drunk-texts on why her hasty marriage would be a mistake.
If only I had just texted my sister. But nope. I accidentally sent the message to her, her groom, and his super hot wingman.
I also used the phrase “super hot wingman,” so I’d like to die now.
Instead, I have to plan a wedding with the aforementioned hottie and share a too-small guesthouse in steamy Miami.
Three days in the sun with the cocky, charming former athlete who likes to push my buttons? Fine, two can play at that let’s-infuriate-each-other game.
Until Asher ups the stakes with one wildly sexy suggestion. A no-strings fling, then I go back to my single dad life in New York, and he returns to his star-studded one.
Sign me up.
But the more nights I spend with the other best man, the more I want days too, and that just can't happen. Especially when I find out the real reason why…

The Best Men by Lauren Blakely and Sarina Bowen was a truly captivating read!
This book grabbed me from the opening lines and kept me glued to my kindle… glued to my kindle when the past few months had me barely reading. The changes in my life… my boys leaving for school and my increased travel has my reading time limited to riding my Peloton riding time and on planes… well for this book I MADE TIME TO READ!
Mark and Asher were so much FUN! These two men are brought together by a wedding but this is so much more than meet at a wedding and oh fall in love.
Mark’s drunken texts (pre-wedding) set up a journey that will bring you so much JOY! Asher and Mark counterbalance each other and bring out so much in each other it is clear they “fit” despite what it looks like on the outside.
Mark is a single Dad and this added layer made the story so much more… it also helps highlight how Mark needed to decide it is time to create the life he wants!
I think the thing I also liked about this book was neither man “struggled” with their sexuality. This was a book about adults, adults who knew who they were, the question at hand… how do two men with lives and careers make LOVE work, make room in their lives, and truly decide to craft a path that works for both of them!
