The Bribe by Willa Nash (Devney Perry) was such a great read and a wonderful introduction to what I hope will be small-town romance series that goes on for some time to come!

Duke and Jade’s first meeting is electric but when Duke meets Lucy well that is when things get real….

Wait don’t get nervous this book isn’t a love triangle or about a man with an appetite for more than one woman, this is a book about country rock star Lucy trying to hide in a small town, hiding as Jade.

Duke is my favorite kind of hero, one who knows what he wants and the want is the woman in front of him and he goes toward that with everything he has.

As Duke and Lucy find their rhythm as Lucy finds the new her, the balance between her love of music and the life she wants this book becomes a beautiful romance.. a romance that reminds the reader to have a choice about finding your happy.

The mystery part of this story was well done and tied a lot of the story and Lucy’s why together!

I hope the Calamity Montana series continues for a long time to come as there are so many great characters who need their story told.
