The Score: A Single in Seattle Novel by Kristen Proby reminded me why I adore this author’s work.

The opening lines of this story took my breath away and touched my soul.. nope not telling read the book!

Isaiah “Ike” Harrison a star NFL quarterback literally runs into Sophie Montgomery and then.. and then… life puts then in each other’s path.

Ike’s family background was a powerful one, and one allowed the reader insight into his soul, he was such a wonderful hero, one you want to root for and one you want to see Sophie with.

Sophie’s famous family plays a great backdrop to her to truly understanding the world Ike now lives in, especially as the limelight turns up with the signing of his new contract.

I adored seeing the whole Montgomery clan again.. and the way Sophie’s Uncle Will and Aunt Meg (from Play with Me) were used in this book was masterful!

The book is filled with the wonderful dialogue Proby has become known for and is laced with connection and attraction.

The happy Sophie and Ike find is perfect for them and I so now anxiously awaiting the net happy in The Set Up because this series is just that good

The Single in Seattle series allows readers to step into the lives of a second generation of Montgomery’s but it is 100% standalone!

If you have been following us for the past 10 years plus I have called Proby one of my must-read authors; the only reason I no longer use that term is because she now writes some paranormal  (and that is not my jam)
