Lies by T.M. Logan is an unputdownable thriller in which each chapter changes the meaning of what came before, keeping the reader guessing until the jaw-dropping finale.
Lies is my first book to read by this author. The blurb caught my attention because every once in a while I need a thriller book in between all of my romance and I am glad I picked this book up.
Told from the POV from the male perspective (which I LOVED), this is the story of Joe and what happens when his life unravels because of all the lies. All the lies, all the secrets, all the things in his life that he thought were true that were not.
I was immersed from the very first page and as you can see from my Goodreads updates, I read this book in one sitting because I had to know the truths. Many times throughout my read, I thought I knew what was going to happen and was then surprised when the story went in another direction.
Overall I was intrigued, and I would most definitely read this author again. My only complaints is that the writing was a bit choppy at times and I wished for smoother transitions. Some parts of the story slowed down for me in the middle where I found myself skimming to get to the more suspenseful parts. Despite these things, I would definitely read this author again to see what he has in store for readers next.
Lies is a must-read for readers who love thrillers and suspense and questioning everything while they read—their heart beating fast to the very last page.
