Being an adult has its advantages...

Lucas Abbott and his identical twin grew up sharing everything—including a reputation for funny, idiotic behavior. But now that Lucas is ready to shed that lovable-idiot image, grow up and have a real, adult relationship, the joke’s on him. He and his twin have fallen for the same woman.

Crushed and hoping a few days on the slopes will work out his frustrations, he heads for Stowe, Vermont. All thought of fun and relaxation flies away as a car spins out in a snowstorm, and his firefighter/paramedic training kicks into high gear.

Danielle Rowson is hoping to pick up the pieces and build a new life for herself and her daughter in Vermont. Winding up in a ditch in the middle of a blizzard isn’t part of the plan—and neither is the kind, sexy rescuer whose strong hands pull them to safety.

Lucas has been a little kid, a big kid and now an adult—and he discovers that adulting has more than one advantage. Especially when it comes to sharing with Dani and Savannah the one thing that’s his and his alone: his love.

Book 4: Till There Was You (Lucas & Danielle)

Till There Was You by Marie Force was a beautiful written love story about a man who finds his place in the world in a vivacious single mom

Lucas Abbott and his raw emotions had me at the opening pages.  The series has kept twins Lucas and Landon along with their twin antics sort of hovering in the background for sometime and it was so great to finally get up close and personal with them.

It is so clear to the reader that Danielle has awoken something special inside of Lucas. That the pull he feels he has never felt before; that he finally understands everything that has been happening to his siblings as they settle down (in the prior books in the series)

Speaking of family….I adored the use of Hannah, Lucas’ older sister and her past.
As usually Elmer, the Abbott’s grandpa almost steals the show!

I  am happy the back of the book said we are getting a happy for the youngest of the Abbot clan Max  and his young son Caden!

But first up next… Landon, Lucas, twin… so excited to see how Landon and Amanda find their happy.

It should be noted that my 4 stars is probably because I closed this story wanting MORE… more, Lucas, more Lucas and Danielle and move Savvy with Lucas, more of the three of them or of the happy being creating for this new family.

The author did provide a bonus epilogue via her newsletter which was awesome but I didn’t feel I should include that as part of my rating.

The full reading order for the Abbott family is in the blurb for this one!

I adore this family and this town…… I highly recommend a binge read and not because you need it to understand this book but because it is truly amazing!
