Underboss by Kristen Proby was such a great read….. and I say that a reader whose jam is not mafia-based romances…..and a reader who now has to take those words back as I am very much looking forward to Shane in Headhunter and Rafe aka Rocco in Off the Record

The way these two come together a first is both sexy and intriguing… watching these two show part of themselves to each other and then connect more as the plot thickens (no pun intended) allows the reader to feel the connection these two share.

Nadia may be one of my favorite heroines ever…. she is fierce and determined…she provides for herself, spends her own money, and crafts her own place in the world!

Carmine… Carmine… he is the thing I love more in a hero… clear in what he wants… and he wants Nadia!

The way these two come together makes it very clear they belong together, and the happy they find is so perfect for them!

This world brings criminal undertones and yes some violence but the author managed to put the relationship front and center making Underboss pure PROBY romance!
