When my good book blogger friend Angie told me to read it, I picked it up right away…. who could resist that beautiful cover and the blurb OMG!

I was not expecting the tears, the frustration, the heartbreak and loss… the heat… the chemistry… OMG Scott and Sydney. This book is EVERYTHING I love about reading!

Scott and Sydney are thrown together into marriage by Scott’s father so that she could become the next CEO of Blackstone. Scott doesn’t want to take over the family business and his dad wants to leave it with the next best person, someone he relies on and has groomed for years… his chief counsel. This marriage of convenience, enemies to lovers, slow burn will absolutely KILL YOU… but seriously, in the best possible way. <3

Because neither character is who they expect the other to be… there is growth and change and heartbreak… and clowns lol… and funny banter and sexy smirks and oh my goodness… did I already say it’s TORTURE! I messaged the author… continuously… ask her 😉 THIS is my favorite kind of read!

Dangelico delivers a well-written romance that will make you FEEL. Marriage is hard work… no one is perfect and mistakes will be made… some not so great that will make you question the character’s true feelings (and brains!). This is life! But the apologies, the forgiveness, the heart behind the pain is what spoke to me, what made my eyes tear, what gave me heart palpitations and made me feel joy in the end. I could not stop smiling and just wanting the story to go on FOREVER. It was hard to close this book and say goodbye because I just loved them so much. <3

Dangelico has a new forever fan… I am in awe of her talent and writing and I want more… I can’t wait to dive into her backlist. This is a story I will never forget. <3
