It is very obvious to the reader that the love and attraction that started their love story so many years ago is still present and I couldn’t help but hope that they would get a second chance to do it right this time, to find it in their hearts to forgive, and to move forward together.

As fate would have it, finding their way back to each other will be harder than expected for these two as they are in a plane accident and left stranded on a snowy mountainside with no help of rescue. For me, while the added adventure and action had me sitting at the edge of my seat, I also found it to be the perfect chance for these two to talk with no distractions—to have open and honest dialogue and to just be real.

Is their love strong enough to handle the elements and the possibility of never being found? Can Dane and Audra remember what brought them together in the first place, remember their love while never giving up, and always remaining by each other’s side through thick and thin—through the storm? Well, you will have to read this book to find out!

What I love about Mia Sheridan’s writing is the uniqueness of her stories, the vulnerableness of her characters that makes you fall in love with them—relating to them, crying with them. This was such an emotional story for so many reasons but what I loved most was their want to fight, their need to survive, their love that shined through the blistering cold, wrapping around their hearts and souls and never letting go. Dane’s Storm was touching and deeply emotional and beautiful; a must-read for fans of Mia Sheridan’s romance stories.

I’ll be honest and say that I wish we were able to spend more time with them in the end because it felt a bit rushed but the epilogue was truly amazing and the most perfect ending for these characters. <3
