From USA Today bestselling author Rebecca Yarros comes a small town, single parent romance.

Nine years ago, Weston Madigan saved me. I came to Colorado penniless, heartbroken, and pregnant, searching for a fresh start. Weston gave me a job at his family’s resort, then left the next day and never returned, not even to visit.

Then I stumble in on Weston cooking breakfast shirtless—gloriously, inappropriately shirtless—in the shared kitchen of my duplex in employee housing. Given the shock on both our faces, he wasn’t expecting a roommate either, let alone two.

The growly pilot is only home to start his family’s new heli-skiing operation. I can handle being his temporary roommate, right? Chemistry and attraction aren’t impossible to ignore when you agree on ground rules. Besides, even with those gorgeous, brooding brown eyes, the guy is a walking thundercloud…until my daughter, Sutton, makes him laugh and he smiles at me. Then everything changes. Cue inconvenient heart flip.

This is only temporary.
I can’t fall for Weston.
I. Will. Not. Fall. For. Weston.
But rules go out the window when you’re a little too close.

A Little Too Close by Rebecca Yarros was book that I was glued to, one I would sneak read on in the Kindle app on my phone; yes it was that captivating.

This is book 2 in the Madigan Mountain series, a collection of three books, by three of my favorite authors, each book telling the story of one of the Madigan brothers!

A Little Too Close is the story of the middle child, Weston Madigan…. West is returning home to run a helicopter business to support the expansion of the mountain his older brother Reed started. West is not excited to be home but it is committed to making the business a success.

West’s return put him directly in the orbit of a woman he meet briefly when he left the mountain after his mom’s death…  Calliope. The how he comes back to face with her again is something I want you to experience for yourself.

West and Callie are clearly made for each other… but I think what made this book so much FUN was witnessing to grumpy West lightening up, finding his JOY again, and wanting to be with Callie and her scene-stealing daughter Sutton.

I am not going to share how West and Callie become a family, or what finally had West understanding that taking the risk on love is worth it… but I will say it was rare, powerful, and such a great read.

I loved how Yarros did not make everything all better… and that is all I will say on that other than read the book!

I adored the story of the eldest Madigan Brother Reed in A Little Too Late and I am so excited for Crew in A Little Too Wild by Devney Perry.
