Bishop Scott, co-captain. Not too shabby, huh? It’s all part of my fresh start with the NHL’s latest expansion team, and that means new teammates, a new coach, a new city, and a big new contract. Basically, I cannot f***ing wait to show my old squad what they’re missing.

My new coach’s daughter. All of a sudden, we’re picking up right where we left off, which means our hands are all over each other. That’s when her dad—my boss—walks in. And before I can get a word out, Brooke’s introducing me as her fiancé.

Sure, she just saved my ass. So why do I get the feeling Brooke’s going to turn my world upside down? Maybe it’s because this fake relationship feels way too real. . . .

I was so excited to a few months ago to learn Sawyer Bennett was writing a new hockey series!

BISHOP is book one in in the Arizona Vengeance series and it didn’t disappoint. The Vengeance is a new franchise in the NHL so the reader gets to experience so much from these men; you get to know them as they get to know each other…….

Bishop Scott is the co-captain of this new team and this man was so intriguing… I am going to try to only share that the blurb does so the reader can experience the story as the author unfolds it.

Bishop’s one night stand, one that the author makes clear is different for him… turns out to be Brooke Perron his new coach’s daughter …. then she introduces Bishop as her fiancé.

And that.. that is where the fun begins….baring witness to these two being together, learning each other but under the context of a lie kept me hoping both would admit their feelings.

I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know this new setting, the new team, the dynamics of the men getting to know each other, watching the team start to fit into the league. The picture painted of the facilities build and the owner’s dedication to his new venture were done with true attention to detail.

In the end I loved loved how this played out for Bishop and Brooke.

Bishop was such a great introduction to a new series, I am now so excited for the Vengeance men…this book has me so wanting ERIK and then LEGEND The hint of Erik Dahlbeck with flight attendant Blue Gardner has new so excited for what’s next!

And I don’t know when but I want to know more about Tacker’s heartbreaking past, I think this character sort of in the shadows was so well done!

PS I hope we get a book for Dominik Carlson, the team owner…… hint.. hint….

If you loved Ms Bennett’s Cold Fury series, I think you will enjoy this one a bit more, it felt edgier and there was more male POV which I personally loved!
