Tracey knows she’s lucky. She has a chance to rebuild her life—and her relationship with her daughter, Emma—in a healthy way. But when she’s forced to travel to California for a cousin’s funeral, she dreads seeing her family and enduring the insults she knows will follow. Except…she didn’t expect to rekindle something with her old boyfriend, Eric.

Widowed and with his dreams shattered, Eric easily recalls the love he’s always held for Tracey. Whether this is a second chance or a one-time weekend to remember remains to be seen. Either way, he’ll take the opportunity, no matter how short, to be with her.

But Emma isn’t so trusting. And when another complication crops up, Tracey runs a very real risk of losing Emma a second time and that’s something Eric will not allow Tracey to do.

So how do you woo a genius super-villain in training into liking you, much less accepting you as one of her “dads?”

(Suncoast Society #61, MF, BDSM, HEA)

OK wait do NOT freak out you do NOT Need to read 60 books to enjoy Tracey’s story, Blues Beach.
The Suncoast Society is a wonderful collection of BSDM books where the characters are all member or become members of the same club.
So many books in this series has touched my heart!  In the past I have loved loved how this series allowed me to hop in an out as a blurb grabbed me.  Though I do want to warn you that is NOT the case with book.
Tracey’s is the ex-wife of Brandon’s; one of the hero’s if a m/m/m story I LOVE; this trios story is told in Heartache Spoken Here, Roll With the Punches , and A Case of You.  Brendon, Jeff and Stewart build a life one that includes, Brendon and Tracey’s daughter, Emma.
The who Tracey is when we meet her in Blues Beach and specifically her relationship with Emma is woven into the men’s story so this one I don’t recommend standalone having said that Tracey (and the men’s journey) is so worth the binge read.
Tracey’s story is a second chance romance …. OMG no NOT with Brandon as his happy is perfect this alpha Dom.  Tracey’s happy is with Eric a man from her past, a man now widowed to appears in Tracey’s life in the most unexpected way.
The connection is clearly still there from their high school days, but well when you are an adult life is a bit more complicated.
I loved, loved how Eric and Tracey find themselves in each others orbit again. And well I feel in love with Eric’s kindness, big heart and desire to make sure everyone including Emma was on the same page.
Speaking on Emma, she is definitely a teenager, one hurt before and one who is crazy stubborn.  The adults in her life I think do a great job at the push and pull between understanding and letting her know what is unexceptionable.
Family is what you make it and being able to witness Tracey finding love for herself, Tracey rebuilding her family and the big family these books create made my heart happy and brought a smile to my face.
I do have to say, and I never thought I would say this about Tymber Dalton book I would personally would like a like a bit more club time in this one.

About Tymber Dalton

Tymber Dalton lives in southwest Florida with her husband (aka “The World’s Best Husband™”) and too many animals. The two-time EPIC award winner is the author of over 65 books and active in the BDSM lifestyle she frequently writes about.

When she’s not writing or out shooting skeet with friends, she can be found doing line edits or reading or thinking up something else to write. You can drop her a line through her website/blog and keep abreast of the latest news, views, snarkage, and general ramblings she feels like posting when the mood strikes her.

(Also published writing as Lesli Richardson, Macy Largo, and Tessa Monroe.)

I like to write my stories around the characters. I don’t “plot” my stories, I “pants” them. My characters are rarely perfect (and the perfect ones are usually first fodder for the bad nasties anyway). I like real characters, no matter how fantastic the story, that you can relate to and yet still escape with for a while. This means they’ll have warts and all.
