Christine’s Top Faves of 2022!

Posted on 28 December, 2022 by in Our Favorite Books, Shh Moms Love / 0 comments

This year I had set my Goodreads Reading Challenge to 50 books and I am pleased to say that I read 70! It was a crazy year with my firstborn going off to college 1300 miles away and making myself more of a priority this year which meant working less, focusing on my family more, and reading a bit more this year than I have in recent years.

Of the 70 books, these were my favorites! I’ve included some of my favorite teasers or quotes below (taken from the author’s social media pages)… Are there any that you want to try?!

Wishing you all a happy holiday season and a blessed 2023!

The Devil Gets His Due by Elizabeth O’Roark

O’Roark has pulled out all the stops and she made me cry… it is SO GOOD!

The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea by Elizabeth O’Roark

It was beautiful and magical and everything you love about romance. You will swoon!

Scandalized by Ivy Owens

So addicting, so sexy, just SO MUCH that I was captivated from the very first page. And this is a debut… just WOW!

A Kingdom of Stars and Shadows by Holly Renee

Addicting and unputdownable…hot as hell! This is my first Holly Renee and not my last…I’m speechless!

Reverse by Kate Stewart

Their journey is not for the faint of heart. The back and forth, the lost time… It is full circle for all the characters… beautiful, heartbreaking, emotional, a complete roller coaster but there is also hope, so much hope and above all else… a true love that transcends all.

The Naked Fisherman and The Lost Fisherman by Jewel E. Ann

Oh fisher with his smirks, his winks, his humor and arrogance…I just loved him. The twists and turns I didn’t see coming…it was perfection *le sigh*

The Night Blossoms by Leylah Attar

I love everything Attar writes… this is a uniquely special romantic thriller that is unforgettable.

For Lucy by Jewel E. Ann

I needed a good cry… this book is amazing! <3
