I read this book in 2021 when it was first released and I loved it then and I love it even more after my re-read.

Laura Lee has crafted a beautiful story of redemption—a couple who met as young children who grew to mean something more to each other, to have lost each other when Presley left to NYC for that chance to move past her hurts and her small-town life, to have found each other again when Presley makes the hard decision to leave her abusive husband and to find herself once again.

This book is my favorite Laura Lee book to date… the tears and heartbreak, the love and hope… you will feel every emotion and this one will stay in your heart for a long time to come.
There are heavy themes in this book that are not for the faint of heart but Lee captures your heart from the very first page. I loved the looks into the past and that feeling that this couple was meant for each other. Becklett is EVERYTHING!

And no pressure to Laura, but when can we get the brother’s book LOL
