Royally Yours 👑 by Emma Chase was is the story of how Queen Lenora became Queen and how she found her Prince …..Prince Edward.  This is a 5 star ⭐ Top Pick Read for me!

Queen Lenora is the grandmother to the the princes in Emma Chase’s Royally series, the books that come before this one in the series. I adored those books and I was so excited when I learned that Lenora was having her story told. If you have not read The Royally Series Collection is highly recommend it!

But no fear Royally Yours is probably the most stand alone book inside of a series I have ever read as it takes about probably 6 decades BEFORE Royally Screwed  So please feel free to dive in if this book grabs your attention; I know two readers who read this as their FIRST Emma Chase read and they are now hooked on this author’s talent.

It should be noted I do not usually read historical romance and the Royals as a whole really don’t intrigue me, I read the first in this series because I adore this author and then.. well.. then her masterfully writing pulled in into this world and I wanted to know everything about everyone in it! Though I have historically come to count on Emma Chase for epic male POV in this case I was enamored by Lenora’s voice.

The author provides the reader with an up close look at the birth of a Queen. Lenora takes the throne early in the life and we go on her journey to accepting the power that comes with the throne.

As Edward enters stage left through a heart breaking chapter you can feel Lenora’s world start to shift. Baring witness to Lenora mature, seeing this young woman grab a hold of life, watching her find that balance needed to rule in a time when woman were not accepted all keep me glued to my kindle.

The partnership Lenora and Edward create is the kind of love most can only hope for. As for Edward well, when you fall in love with the next Queen, wooing her is about more than “things” and WOW did I love that part. Edward working to show Lenora his love becomes about the little things and in the end THAT, that is love.

I will say having read the prior books my heart ached for Lenora just a bit more as I knew the pain the next few decades would bring her.
