Buried secrets never stay hidden in the South.

Emily
I fell in love with him when I was fourteen. Under the stars, he told me he loved me, and under the stars we promised to love each other always. But under the stars, he broke my heart by walking away.

He left me without a second glance. I was just an afterthought.
Now he's back, but this time, I'm not falling for his Southern charm.

Maybe.

It’s time I get my happily ever after, even if part of me wishes he was still mine.

Ethan
I found out on my twenty-first birthday that everything I thought I knew was a lie, and the man I had grown up thinking was my father wasn't.

The pain I felt blinded me, making it impossible to hear what anyone said.
I left them all behind, including her, my best friend and the woman I was going to marry.

Five years later, I'm back, only to find the woman I still love has another man's ring on her finger.

She’s going to marry my best friend unless I stop her. And this time, I only have until sunrise to change her mind.

Southern Sunrise by Natasha Madison is a book that grabbed my heart and soul in time when I was struggling to get into reading.

Ethan the hero in Southern Sunrise is the son of Savannah son and Jacob who are not the star of a book but who have their happy’s told with their love interested in prior books, trust me it sound complicated but it works, really works amazingly well.  This series turns into a beautiful story ARC.

Ok back to Sunrise, Sunrise is the second chance romance between Ethan and Emily.  Ethan and Emily young love was well let’s say interpreted when he finds out the secret of his part… for those who read the prior books this is not spoiler …but I am going to write this for the new reader and simply say book 1 has build up so well to this moment, the moment highlights that secrets never stay buried.

I adored how Jacob knew he has to make things right; he know his reaction hurt others. Experiencing Jacob making things right, relearning Emily and making it clear she was always his forever kept me glued to my kindle and looking forward to seeing how they would get to their happy.

The use of Jacob’s family added to much to this small town romance!

In the end the happy these two find was the happy that was meant for them. The two epilogues will leave you with a full heart and smile from ear to ear.

I adored the Southern Series and highly recommend it as summer binge read!

I was so excited to learn at the end of this one that we get to return to this world again in March 2021 with Southern Heart… I know who I hope will be the star of this one!

About Natasha Madison

When her nose isn’t buried in a book, or her fingers flying across a keyboard writing, she’s in the kitchen creating gourmet meals. You can find her, in four inch heels no less, in the car chauffeuring kids, or possibly with her husband scheduling his business trips. It’s a good thing her characters do what she says, because even her Labrador doesn’t listen to her…
