We’re two strangers on a train, knowing whatever we decide in the next moment might dictate our fate for the rest of our lives.

“A kiss was all I needed.”

“Looks like you got what you wished for.”

“Yes. About that…”

My plan: find a finely dressed businessman, have a one-night stand, and forget about my failed relationship.

Like a bad joke, my ex walks into the bar. That’s when a gorgeous man wearing street clothes, messy hair, and the sexiest smile I’ve ever seen lays a kiss on me. It’s meant to rile up my ex but leaves me breathless and wanting more instead.

Then he’s gone.

So, I do what any rational person would. I chase after him onto the subway and embark on a wild night in New York City with a complete stranger.

No matter how much I fight it, this mysterious man painted his soul onto my skin. If it’s not meant to be, why can’t I forget about him?

TANNER by Jeannine Colette and Lauren Runow was a good that had me believing a chance encounter at a bar could forever alter the course of two people’s lives.

Tanner and Harper’s first interactions were series of I wanted to strangle her moments that felt so right for this character.

As Tanner the youngest of the Sexton brother reveals himself to Harper, the read falls in love with this man. Not his money, not his family, not the empire he is set to inherit but the man.

Though young Tanner is what would they call him an old soul, and that shines through to the reader and Harper.

I never had a doubt that Tanner wanted Harper and felt the connection deep into this soul.

The use of Harper’s Dad really added to the story…. and the way his career woven into the end was truly masterful!

When Harper find out Tanner is more than just a young man about to graduate college, this I think may be the moment I liked her, the grace and forethought she handles all of this made this book a beautiful love story.

The how the Sexton Media saga unfolded was my favorite part of this story! Well, ok maybe the epilogue runs a very close second!

This series consists of Austin, Bryce and Tanner… as a side note I never read Austin book 1 and had no issue loving Bryce and Tanner!
