WOW! I certainly didn’t expect that when I picked up this Marni Mann book. Admittedly I have been in a bit of a book funk for the past couple of months… but when I saw the blurb come out for this book and saw the sign up for ARCs, I figured – why not? I needed something to get me out of my reading hiatus.
And boy, Mann did not disappoint! I have only read one Mann book in the past because I have never been able to keep up with all the books releasing and after reading this, it solidifies why I need to go back to read her backlist. JUST WOW!
The Lawyer is HOT and sucked me in from the very first page. While Dominick says he is more of a one-night stand kind of guy, the moment he meets Kendall, he knows that she is different for him… he can not get enough.
And I couldn’t either. *fans self* I devoured this book because it consumed my every thought. Their passion, their interactions, the heart and care from both characters—I just could not get enough.
If you love a heroine who is the epitome of kindness and love and a hot hero with a dirty-talking mouth, mix that with Hollywood drama and romance that will have you swooning, you will LOVE LOVE LOVE The Lawyer.
